Purchased games do not shown as paid in Xbox 360

    Purchased games do not shown as paid in Xbox 360


    I'd bought 5 console games through xbox.com web site during X'mas because they were on sales. All games are for my XBOX 360s. In Xbox, I can find these games, and after I select it, it still showing the price ($29.99), instead of asking for downloading it.

    I bought a couple of games through the xbox.com web site before (around March last year), because of pandemic that I started to play this console again. After paying through the web site, I can search the purchased game and it will show that I can download it. After downloading I can play the game right away. But now, these games I bought a couple month ago are not allow to download.

    The difference between the working games and those new games is that the working games are paid in full price, and the new games are in discount.

    Anyone have any suggestion ?

    It is part of the requirements of xbox 360 live for website purchases

    Yes you have to download the game to your 360 click it

    As long as it does not return an error your fine

    Well first you need to rent a xbox 360 or borrow one and use your account to download it

    For first free purchases you need to make the purchase from a console to check for compatibility

    Paid purchase do not have the issue

    Hi there,

    To answer the first question - no. To play any online multiplayer game (paid, or not), a Live subscription is required.

    As for your second question - were you trying to 'purchase' Xbox 360 games or Xbox One games? The 360 games will require a credit/debit card/PayPal on file otherwise the 'purchase' will have to be done on a 360 console.

    Did you try making the purchase through a different location - browser, console, Xbox app?
