Purchased Game from Microsoft Marketplace downloaded it But Didn't Play

Hi Everyone,

Could you please help me. I have been contacting Microsoft Support but every time it is not solving the issue I have.

My proplem is :

Purchased Game from Microsoft Online and downloaded it but after download game not appearing at My Game section. I have re-downloaded it again, deleted cache, deleted profile and downloaded my profile again but still same issue: Game not appearing at My
Game after download complete and when attemp to play it from Download History it show black screen for second and then guide me to My Games.

This issue is same when I have downloaded game with Gold (Battelfield Bad Company 2)

This didn't happen when I have purchased other games.

Please can anyone help me on this regard

Problems with original Xbox games

Yes, I purchased and downloaded GTA from the Xbox live marketplace and was getting a disc read error. I thought my old files from the disc version were corrupting the game but deleting them didn't help.

If you're trying to share a game that was downloaded from the Xbox marketplace, then yes, that could be seen as marketplace theft and is not allowed. Content purchased from the marketplace is tied to the gamertag that purchased it.

 

What game did you download and can you see it on your console's hard drive?

 

The Game I purchase is Kinect Sports 1

Same issue for Game with Gold Battelfield 2

 

Yes I can see them in the Download History and in the Hard drive ,

In the Hard Drive it appear and next to it big yellow (!)

Please help me on this regard

 

Ok, that means the game either did not fully download or is corrupted.

Is your gamertag set for the same region (country) that you physically live in? If not, that may be the reason that you are experiencing this issue. Some items cannot be downloaded if the IP address (Internet Protocol) is different from the origin of the
item.

 

Ok since both games are region specific

Does your account region match your Actual region if not that would be why

Using the website and an vpn won't bypass the locks

Yes you are right region at Profile is UAE and current location is Oman.

I started playing when I was in UAE and now in Oman.

So, What is the solution now? How I can get the games ? Please advice me on this?

Also, when my country Oman will be Live Support?

since Oman is not on the list of supported regions (UAE is tho) that is why you are having issues. there is no word when a country is added to the list of supported regions you just have to check the list here:
www.xbox.com/.../countries

 

If those games are not available for you to download there is nothing that can be done. When you set your gamertag for a country other than where you live (and I understand you have no choice here) you run the risk of this happening as not all content is
region free.
