Purchased content not available to other family profiles on my console

This may or may not be in the right place, but I wasn't sure where to put it.

so my issues is that my purchased CoD content isn't available to other profiles on my console, even though they are already set up as part of my family, and have all the other benefits that I have, such as xbox live, games with gold, ect.

I downloaded the Havoc DLC pack last night from my profile and let it download overnight. I can play the dlc on my profile just fine, but my girlfriends profile isn't able to access the content.

When I sign into CoD with her profile, it says that she owns the dlc pack, but that the DLC isn’t downloaded, which it is because my profile loads it just fine.

I’ve deleted it and reinstalled the content using her profile to hit install, which still didn’t work.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm really excited to play this but we can't even play multiplayer together let alone zombies so it's kind of a let down.

The family plan never had an affect on download licenses. When you purchase content it is tied to the gamertag that purchased it as well as the console it was purchased on. That console license is what allows other profiles to access the same content. The
original account that purchased the content can redownload and use the content on any console they want, but the other profiles will only be able to access the content on the console that it was downloaded on. If you've switched consoles, you would need to
do a license transfer so that the profiles can access that content again.

Your son moving his account shouldn't affect to much of anything really. Since the family plan has been discontinued, each account would need it's own subscription if everyone wants to play online.

DLC is tied to the gamertag that purchased it as well as the console it was purchased on. The console license is what allows all profiles to access the content. Your son can play the content on any other console as long as he is signed into Live. However,
if he does a license transfer it will remove the licenses from your family console and the other profiles will not be able to access the content.

 

Sorry to hear it. If your console is not set as your HOME console then she won't be able to access the maps that came with the download. Head over to Settings to ensure that the console is set as your HOME.

 

Yes, it is set as my home console. I've also since removed her account from the console, deleted the dlc, then reinstalled both her account followed by the dlc back to the console, neither of which had any impact.
