    Purchased content from iPad won’t save to Microsoft account so I can use on Xbox


    So ive recently bought an xbox to play minecraft on. Before id play on my ipad, (not signed into my microsft account) and purchased a texture pack that is on the xbox marketplace too. On minecraft PE edition it says to either save the pack to the ipad
    only or to sign into my microft account and save it onto my xbox profile. I put it to save on my microsft profile but once i log into it on my xbox and ipad, the texture is gone and shows in store to purchase again and not activate. I logged out from my ipad
    and its back, but back into microsft and gone. What do i do?

    That is NOT what the prompt says, it says "Save purchases to a Microsoft Account", with a button that says "Save to Microsoft Account". No where is it mentioned that they are 2 different products, and you cannot save your purchases. Clicking "Save to Microsoft
    Account" does nothing, other than sign you into your Microsoft Account.

    The Full text:

    "Do you want to play with whatever you buy from any Minecraft Store enabled system? Sign in with a FREE Microsoft account and sync your purchased Skins, Textures, Maps, and Mash-ups to use and play in Minecraft!

    If you lose your system or uninstall Minecraft, your purchases will still be synced and accessible on any system when you use your Microsoft account."

    Hi Fernando,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. These are two different versions of the game. One is for IOS the other is for Xbox. They are coded differently for the different devices. You would need to repurchase on the Xbox. You can go to
    Mojang support and provide feedback there.

    I have two iPads in the house. My son has been playing Minecraft on one of them, and I've bought him a handful of mashups on that device, which was not signed into a Microsoft Account at the time. Now I want him to use the other iPad, but I can't access
    the purchased content from the first. I have also bought a couple of mashups on that device while I was signed into my Microsoft Account, and I can only see those packs while signed in.

    If I sign out on the first device and then open the Marketplace and select My Packs, I see the content I have purchased on the device. I also see a popup headed "Important!", which tells me to "Sign in with a Microsoft Account (free) and transfer your pack
    entitlements and Minecoins to that account to protect and access them on any device that you sign in on".

    So I click "Sign in" and then a pop-up asks "Save purchases to a Microsoft Account?" and offers two choices: "Save to a Microsoft Account" and "Leave on Device". I choose the former, and I sign in to my Microsoft Account. Again, I click "Save to a Microsoft
    Account" and it loads up the marketplace showing the content from my device but NOT the content I have bought while signed into my account. And then after a few seconds, the content from my device disappears and is replaced by the content I bought while signed
    into my account.

    It doesn't seem able to sync the content from my device into the account. Can I force this to happen?
