    Purchased Cold War on XBOX ONE


    So I decided to purchase Cod Cold War using my computer to play on my Xbox. I already had some of COLD WAR downloaded for the free weekends. It seems to be fully updated as the file size is showing 124gbs. When I go to play the game a screen pops up saying Purchase. If I click on Purchase it tells me I already have this game and I should go to My Games and Apps to download, it says if I'm gaming from the cloud I should be ready to go.

    Cold War is already on my xbox.... so I don't know what I need to do.

    Do I have to uninstall it all just to install it again?

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    Hello There ! According to the explanation you have provided, I believe your console will need reset in order to refresh the system. Therefore, you will only need to follow those simple troubleshooting steps that I will provide you with and your issue should be fixed.

    After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

    First, please select Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    Then, select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

    After you will need to perform a quick power cycle on your console, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

    If the issue persists, please try to check your subscriptions in the order history in this following website : Microsoft account | Services & subscriptions

    If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    I checked and I had about 40mbs of add-ons I needed to install to get the game to work.

    So your solution may work for others but it wasn't for me.
