Purchased CoD: Modern Warfare but game won't play

I recently (New Years Eve) purchased Call of Duty:. Modern Warfare - Digital Standard Edition, but when trying to play it, it goes into Call of Duty: Warzone (which is free), and won't let me play MW. It says that I need to install the game data packs (Campaign, Multiplayer Co-Op). The funny thing is, I've downloaded them, uninstalled them, and re-installed countless times, all with the same results. I've even been told by Microsoft Support, over the phone, to delete and re-download my profile. Nothing. It's getting to the point where I feel like I was robbed. What should I do?

Hi,

Please clarify, you own Modern Warfare on what system? If it was on console, then you won't be able to download the PC version as this (and all Call of Duty titles) are not Play Anywhere. The PC versions are separate purchases.

Only Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered and Infinite Warfare were released on the Windows Store and they are separate purchases to the console versions. Is this the games/s you are referring to?

My son has the same problem. Two days ago, out of the blue, his COD Modern Warfare 2 stopped working. We thought it was the disk, so I went and purchased another COD Modern Warfare....Same thing, says it cannot read disc. However, it still plays all other
games, and any DVD that he puts into it. It is obvious that its the game.

What else can I try?

I am thinking it may be MW4 too with the college american football player that had played it said on nickmercs' stream that it was like the old modern warfare cod's tbh either a modern warfare or vietnam but in the modern warfare style will be ok with
