Purchased Ark Geneisis, but it's not working?

I purchased the Ark Genesis season pass, but the map isn't showing up in primitive plus or survival evolved map selection list.

I downloaded all things in the 'ready to install' section, I have restarted the game, as well as my xbox one, several times. I had more then enough space for everything (I'm only currently using about 40% of my consoles storage).

I'm super excited to mess about on the new map, but I just don't know what I'm doing wrong?

I am an absolutely noob when it comes to anything console related, sorry if I'm missing something super obvious.

Well, it's now showing up in the map list, but I didn't do anything that might have helped. I guess it just needed time?

I found that game to leg at times. Probably what the issue was

Ark Survival Evolved is a full game, and Ark Extinction is an add-on. Your title and description are contrary to each other and so I'm confused.

If you purchased Ark Survival Evolved then you should be just able to play it. However, if you purchased Ark Extinction then you must also purchase Ark
Survival Evolved.

it said it was form Microsoft and it was sent on the same day when I purchased ark, its also the same cost as ark.

There was a trial version of Ark available, and it let you also play Ark for free. I actually played and completed Ark for free without purchasing it through free-to-play days. If you look back through your order history, does it show the original game
when you purchased it, and not the trial version?
