Purchased a second Xbox One

I've just purchased a second Xbox One for the living room to replace the old 360 so the kids can use Kinect for Just Dance (and Sports etc as soon as they are released!) and the wife can use Xbox Fitness, my main Xbox One is in the bedroom.

My question is can I use my live account on both consoles? My wife has her own account but it's 'silver' as it didn't warrant me paying an extra £40 for the amount of times my wife/kids went online on the old 360, my account is gold.

I basically use my console for Battlefield 4, Assassins Creed, Fifa and Ryse, Kinect games don't really interest me.

The console downstairs will be used primarily for Kinect and Xbox Fitness, as my wife's account is silver she can't use/download Xbox Fitness as I understand it. I've read various forum posts but it's about as clear as mud in my head right now. Ideally
I'd like to use my account to download and install the games on both consoles but my wife to be able to use them with her account.

Hello, I have two xbox ones w/two xbox live accounts. One xbox one live account has a purchased movie for which I would like to have the ability to view the movie on the second xbox one and second xbox live account (different from the account which purchased
the movie). Is there a way to do this?

Essentially, yes, your Xbox One console can still have a device suspension even if you purchased a second-hand console.

 

You can use your account on both... But you can only have one Xbox One set as your "home xbox"..

On the console you choose to set as home xbox all silver profiles will get the benefits of your gold membership..

I did mark this as answering my question but now I actually have the second Xbox One it's a little clearer.

It seems I can't be logged on my console upstairs while the kids play Kinect downstairs (using my gold account) as I can only be logged on to one console at a time :-( or am I misunderstanding again?

I've added my wife's profile to my 'family', I'm the gold account holder and I've added my wife's account as a family member, does this mean my wife can logon downstairs and benefit from my gold account while I use my account upstairs?

 

Yes u can. But make the one in your bedroom your home console. I do not be possablie due not being your home console. You can shair you gold with your lover.

 

It either u log on that console when they r on. Or you have not set a home console yet.

 

Cheers guys, sorted it now. Just need to change one of the kids accounts from adult to child but can't figure out how to do it!
