Purchase Minecraft Java from Windows Store but No confirmation or in Order history

May I know if you purchased Minecraft Java or Minecraft for Windows? If you purchased Minecraft for Windows, is the order showing as completed on your Microsoft order history?

I ask this because if you actually purchased Minecraft Java, since the payment processing and licensing were all done by Mojang, it is their responsability to give you the game.

If you purchased Minecraft for Windows (which were being sold at the Microsoft Store), Microsoft is the one responsible for the game licensing. But, if the order is showing on your order history as completed - which means Microsoft is actually recognizing the order and giving you the game license - then Mojang is the one who is responsible for giving the game for you, since on Microsoft's side everything is normal.

So, the only case that Microsoft support would be able to assist you with this is if you actually purchased Minecraft for Windows, on the Microsoft Store, you received the order confirmation email but the order is not showing on your Microsoft account order history page (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders).

All the other case cenarios should be handled by Mojang support. And if they say they cannot help you (which they should be able to do), unfortunately nothing can be done. I'm really sorry about this.

That's really weird, since you purchased Java directly from Minecraft website, right? They are the ones who should look into your problem. The order for Minecraft Java is not even linked to the Microsoft store or is shown on your Microsoft account order history.

Please confirm on your account order history from https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders if your game order is there and says completed. Make sure that you use the same account from the website and to your Minecraft Java. Check your Microsoft Store and Xbox app if you used the same account.

Also, please confirm you purchased Minecraft for Windows or Minecraft Java Edition if you are playing on the computer, since Minecraft is platform specific. If you purchased the console or mobile versions, you don't have the license to play on the computer.
