    Purchase for 360, not free for Xbox One


    I purchased all 8 episodes of Minecraft Story Mode Season 1 on the Xbox 360. I would like to get it again for free on Xbox One (Because I got rid of my 360) instead of needing to purchase it all again, but I can't figure out how. I'm on the game right
    now, and it's saying "PURCHASE EPISODE {Insert Episode Number Here}" instead of just downloading it. Is this just a glitch, has Microsoft not added this feature yet, or do I just need to spend over another $20?

    Xbox One - Not possible download Deus EX available in games with gold

    The Xbox 360 marketplace website requires billing information even for free purchases. The Xbox One marketplace does not. That is why you could get Thief. The only way to make "free" Xbox 360 purchases is either on an Xbox 360 console or with your billing
    information on the website. Sorry.

    Games with Gold purchases not appearing on new Xbox One

    I'm sure, in March "Tomb Raider" was free for Xbox 360 and in September "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" was free for Xbox One. I snagged both of these deals, but the Xbox One purchase is not listed anywhere on my account. Cheers

    Since that game is not backwards compatible, you would have to purchase the One version in order to play it on the One.

    Only for the first free purchase best option borrow a friends console and make a purchase with your account t on that console or rent one from your friendly neighbourhood blockbuster and make one purchase

    If 360 games are not compatible with xbox one then the option to re-purchase or download for free won`t even exist.

    There simply won`t be any 360 games on the xbox one.

    As far as the 360 goes,anything you have already purchased will always be there to download for free,for as long as microsoft support the 360.
