    I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

    Xbos-0x80169CF9

    Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

    I used to get an error code when I wished to buy but then I found out that it was because of some issue with my credit card. I contacted my credit card company and they did an online verification and then I was able to make my purchase.

    FYI, you cannot purchase a gold subscription with the currency on your account. Gold can only be purchased with a credit card/paypal or by purchasing a prepaid subscription card.

    Solutions

    To resolve this problem, try the following solutions:

    Sorry to hear it. The error code you posted does indeed mean that there is a region issue.

    Even though the card may be in Euros it's possible that the code you purchased could be for a different country than Germany which would be causing the problem.

    I'd recommend you contact the seller to ensure the code you purchased is actually for Germany.
