    Purchase DLC on Gamepads Holder's Account or personal Account?


    Myself and a roomate share an XBOX one, and he has Gamepass Gold, and we both use it. I'm planning on purchasing all the Fallout New Vegas DLC, and I'm unsure if I need his acc or mine for the transaction.

    cause only calling support can verify you are the account holder and not some person saying they are the account holder that is why.

    Cannot Purchase Anything

    I too am on a Family Pack. I am not restricted in any way as far as child/adult. However only the master account holder can use cash. Since they recently switched from MP to cash the only person on a Family Pack that can purchase games is the master account
    holder. They are in the process of breaking up the Family Packs and turning them each into their own separate account. Until your account goes through this process you will have to purchase things through the master account holder. Hopefully this process will
    be completed for everyone soon.

    So if I purchase and download it on his console under my name (the primary account holder). I can then download it on my console and we both will be able to use the dlc correct?

    Are you playing on the account that purchased the DLC, or are you playing on a new account that is game sharing with the account that purchased the DlC? If you are Game sharing with your dads account or the account that bought the DlC. Then you wont be able
    to use any of the DLC. Game sharing/ Homing only allows you to play another persons games. It will not allow you to play the DLC. If you are playing on the same account that previously purchased the DLC. You should be able to go to Fallout 4 in the store and
    re download the DLC with out paying for it.
