    Purchase did not use funds in Microsoft Account


    On "My Account Dashboard" at Xbox.com, under "Transactions" a line state: "In your Microsoft account: $13.37."

    Knowing this I then purchased Skyrim DLC believing it would charge my Microsoft account. However after purchase the amount on the "My Account Dashboard" has not changed and my credit card has been charged. What happened to my Microsoft account funds?

    That offer is only for the first purchase made using funds from your Microsoft Account. Since you did not use your Microsoft Account to pay for this purchase, you did not complete that offer.

    As Smwutches says, in order to qualify for this offer, you must make your purchase using funds from your Microsoft Account as the payment method. Since you did not use Microsoft Account currency as your payment type, your purchases were not eligible for

    I'm not sure why your funds were not charged. As this is a billing issue you would need to contact phone support for more assistance with it though.

    It also depends on whether you made the purchase on the console or the website. The website has not been updated to work the currency system so it would have charged your card. It does tell you what payment method you're using before you confirm the payment.

    Promotional Credits take priority over other funds in your Microsoft Account. Since you made a purchase on the 12th this month using your Microsoft Account as the payment method, you spent these funds already. Since the funds in your account did not fully
    cover the cost of this purchase, it was split with another payment method.
