I want to use my Microsoft account balance to pay for something, but I don't see it listed as a payment option.

You can't use the money in your Microsoft account to purchase content from the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

To resolve this issue, purchase the item on your Xbox 360 console, where you can use your Microsoft account balance to make purchases.

You can't purchase Xbox 360 games from Xbox One using account balance. You must use other modes of payments such as debit/credit card or paypal.

Also should be noted if you purchased a prepaid card from amazon because you aren't in a supported region or you are trying to buy UK content but not in the uk it won't work

One xbox 360 games are most likely region locked while we can't guess which games have region locked but most are and AAA titles will most likely will be with notable exceptions like infinity ward games

Having this problem in the Channel Islands. Trying to purchase after the dark for download. Region is Channel Islands. Location is Channel Islands. Device is Xbox one. Same error message as previous statement from someone else. Thanks,
