    PUR-ConversionBlockedCurrencyCountryMismatch Error although my region & location is correct...


    I am getting the below error when trying to upgrade my 14 days trial (was included with my xbox one s):

    PUR-ConversionBlockedCurrencyCountryMismatch

    Although my region & location are correct & matches my code region! I searched waaay so much but even 2 chat reps couldn’t figure out the issue!

    No Active Subscriptions

    No past/old payment methods

    No linked Subscriptions

    The only subscription i have is the remainder of the 14 days game pass (4 days left).

    I bought my xbox one s new sealed with the 14 days included within the box, however i bought it off a person not at a local store, so could it be that the initial included code had a different region than my actual location & that created this issue?! But
    also doesnt make sense as the initial code was accepted!

    Note: I live in Canada & both my location & region set to canada everywhere in all microsoft account & services, i even did a region migrate to Canada yesterday just in case as advised by Microsoft chat rep.

    Help Please am so tired & frustrated without any help from anyone...

    Hi JuanR.P,

    Where did you buy the code from? I know once I would a code from online and had this issue because the code was for another region. Luckly, the site was a reputable site and they did give me another code for my region.

    I would suggest setting up a call back from an Xbox Live support agent by following the steps below. The agent would be able to look into your billing account and see what might be causing that issue.

    If everything seems to be in order on your side, you'll have to contact the official support via
    https://support.xbox.com/contact-us or since you're in Germany call:

    or 0695 007 0422

    They are available Mo-Fr: 09:00 - 18:00 and Sa-So 10:00 - 18:00

    The official support would then have to check your account why it thinks you're trying to do a currency conversion.
