Pulling Hair out over Crazy Freezing issue and NO Red Lights!

Ok so let me preface this plea for help by saying I'm VERY tech savvy. I have a unique xbox 360 freezing issue. I have two brand new xbox 360 4GB E consoles that I'm using as wmc extenders and for streaming Amazon Instant Video. Both of them are rock
solid when connected to "TV1" and both of them freeze w/n minutes of being on when connected to "TV2" or "TV3". I've tried swapping power bricks between the two, swapping network cables, hdmi cables, clearing storage cache and any game downloads, checking
for pending download queue on my account, positioning both brick and console in different ways for best ventilation, connecting brick directly into wall, etc.

The only difference I can pinpoint is TV1 has ferrite cores on its power cord. It's also the only TV that's 1080p but I currently have one of the consoles connected to TV1 and set to 720p with no problems. I've also tried setting either console to 480p,
and 1080i and they still freeze on TV2 and TV3. It doesn't matter if I'm on the dashboard, on Amazon Instant Video, on Youtube, or running windows media center extender.

I get no red lights and can turn the consoles off with the power button when they freeze. Their controllers lose connectivity when they freeze and can't reconnect while frozen.

Let me add that these are my 4th! consoles. I had a regular white 360 Arcade edition that never had issues but I sold a while back. Then I purchased a used 360 4GB slim off craigslist that started having the same freezing problem. After replacing the
thermal compound on the slim and talking to xbox support with no luck I figured it was a bad console and needed a reflow or something. I decided to eliminate the "used" factor and bought two brand new consoles and am pulling my hair out trying to figure out
why they both run perfectly for hours on end, never freezing when connected to TV1. I currently have them both connected to TV1, one streaming Amazon at 1080p and another streaming live TV via WMC (I have an HDHomerun Prime with cablecard from TWC and a Windows
7 PC running WMC) even at 720p. I keep switching between HDMI inputs waiting for one to freeze but they both are completely fine on TV1.

Please help!!!! Could it really be due to noise on the power line that the ferrite cores are removing on TV1? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is draining so much of my free time and sanity!

HDMI not working

I have heard of this but there is no 'display discovery' setting in the display settings menu. Pulling my hair out over this now!!

Theres still no way I'm pulling my hair out trying to complete this.

 

Hold the power button down on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 seconds then plug it back in and power back on. Hope this helps.

 

I am having the same problem with my Xbox 360 S console I bought used from ebay. This is my 3rd console. The previous two were the fat Arcade version and a S console. Both NEVER had any problems even if I played for upto 18 hours straight. I too thought
the latest console is a bad one and needs a reflow but havent bothered doing any of that.

After some research and personal experience, I found that certain games freeze for many 360 owners, specially games published by EA, for whatever odd reasons. I stay away from EA games now. My console still freezes sometimes but not so often. I didnt find
an fan I could buy for the S console so I just bought a laptop cooler and placed my 360 standing up over the fans and they help the system manage heat better. I think the stock fan is just not good enough for the system. It seems like this has helped. I also
set the resolution to "Optimal" which is 1366x768. I am connected via an HDMI and I think THIS is the main issue. Something is wrong with the 360 S that it cant handle HDMI. I cant connect the VGA cable because my TV inputs are full and HDMI is the only port
left for my 360. It could also be my new TV which is a Sony. My earlier Vizio TV worked fine.

If you are also using HDMI cables, try using the VGA and let me know what happens. If the problem gets solved, I'll switch to VGA too. Also, buying a laptop cooler is a good idea. They are cheap.

 

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried both with no change. How odd. I thought maybe it was an hdmi protocol issue (grasping at straws) until I tried the component cable and it still froze!
