Publishing / developing games for game pass

It's up to individual developers/publishers when or even if their games come to Game Pass for PC.

It's not entirely up to Microsoft what gets on Game Pass. It's a deal between MS and individual game publishers/developers.

This kind of thinking is the problem. The game developers have already been paid the whole time the game was being made. Game developers do not work without getting payed thru out the cycle of developement. Some games take 5 to 10 years from idea to finish
product. Show me anybody who would work that long with no pay and I will show you someone who is an idiot.

It is the game publisher that is losing money on rentals and used game sales. Publishers are telling developers to include an online pass code into the game so that they can maximumize their return on investment. That is why if an online game changes hands
2 or more times the publisher gets that online pass fee, the developer has already moved on to either DLC or their next game.

You'd need to get in contact with the relevant Developers/Publishers of those games as they are the ones who decide whether they want their games on Game Pass

All of this information is freely available for you to make your own decision about the Xbox console. It's not a scam if the capabilities of the machine are already well known.

As for Game Pass, it's not piracy. All of the developers and publishers of the featured games are paid. Microsoft does not steal these games and offer them without the developers and publishers consent.
