PUBG BUGS/CRASHING

Over the past week pubg has progressively become unplayable. At first it was the typical pubg problems. Drops in fps, a glitch here, and there, and occasionally a crash. Shortly after I started to experience more crashing and highly unusual glitching such
as a black screen only displaying the map, compass etc. Or I would see the ground texture in the sky or lines resembling power lines across the map as well as lines of color bursting from objects into the sky and a horizontal wall of what appeared to be static.
It then got to the point of crashing every time it was opened. After hours and days spent on the phone with tech support the problem is still not resolved and I was told by microsoft/Xbox support to post here. I've tried installing and reinstalling and then
resetting the console. I then tried the same thing but resetting the console before reinstalling. I cleared the persistent storage local saved games and 360 saved games. I've removed my account and then signed back in. I've unnecessarily deleted a large portion
of other games thinking it was a storage issue. I did a factory reset as well. Oh and I was even told to update my security info. None of this has permanently fixed the issue. After performing whichever troubleshooting step, it may work for a single match or
so and then it's back to crashing. It's occurring on all servers available and in all modes as well as fpp and top.

PUBG

my system has been crashing since purchasing PUBG. Is anyone else having this problem. Anyone know of a fix for it.

So since this new update when ever the New desert map tries to load my game completely kicks me from the game any one else having that kinda problem??

 

PUBG on Both PS and Xbox are struggling being ported over to consoles. It not a you problem or Microsoft problem. The developers of PUBG have not done much to fix anything. I wan t give you a happy answer but...there isn't sadly.

I've taken a break from the game for a while. I'll give it another try after a few updates.

 

anothee thing that has been sgown to improve performance is having game installed on an external ssd.

Also turn off game capture and dvr function while playing this game. I went from similar issues to only worring about some delay on remdering details but structures and basics load in to be playable and able to win hotdrops

 

I actually find clearing the cache seems to help. However, saying this it also seems to largely depend on the servers as I have had no issues playing it at all. I'm in Australia btw. When I have had issues in the past I just hard reset and seemed to fix
it. It's still in Game Preview mode so essentially its still a none finished product. Hopefully, they get on top of this rather soon for you guys.

PUBG is probably still going through some updates. As frustrating as it is, there will always be bugs and crashes

 

This is all great info and should be posted on their official forums. Even more so now that they have launched "Fix PUBG".
