Psychonauts 2 saves deleted

First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you went through some kind of experience.

I saw you mentioned that after the 18GB update you lost your game progress. If the files were deleted from the cloud they won't be able to be recovered, once you enter the game the synchronization with the data saved in the cloud would happen automatically if it didn't happen, unfortunately, the data was deleted from there too.

Anyway knowing that the update was the cause, I would recommend that you reinstall the game to see if the progress can be recovered, but this will only happen if this data has not been deleted from the cloud.

I would also recommend that you contact game support and report this, maybe something can still be done.

If the console hasn't deleted the saves from the cloud yet, you can go to My Games and Apps, highlight the game, and press the Menu button.

Choose to manage the game, and there delete the local save game copy.

If you then start the game, it'll download the saves from the cloud.

If the saves of the game are gone from the cloud as well, then there is currently no way to get them back a gain.

Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Psychonauts 2

Psychonauts 2 and Half-Life 3 would be awesome.

I loved the original and it still drives me crazy that I haven't beaten it yet (I did admittedly get pretty far)... Irregardless, I can't wait for a sequel! I want it now!
