Phone/Chat support. They'll be able to best help you out with your power supply.

The older PSU's should fit the newer models. The PSU connectors on the HDMI models of the original Xbox 360 are keyed, which means that incompatible PSU's won't fit these machines. Your older pre-HDMI console PSU should fit your HDMI console though. Does
your PSU not fit your replacement console?

It is very likely that the problem may be with your PSU, before buying a new PSU I recommend that you take your PC to a professional to check if it is in fact the PSU or other components of your PC.

Hi, I am still waiting for the new PSU but yesterday I received a 220v to 110v converter with 400W and It's working really well with the US PSU.

So for the moment even without the EU PSU I can play,

I will keep you updated regarding the EU PSU but I was chatting yesterday with xbox assistance and there is a small problem as I did not get the tracking number. Nobody knows the tracking number of the EU PSU so they are "investigating".

for now it doesn't sound like a PSU issue, it could be the console that isn't powering on and therefor won't trigger the PSU to show a green light (Which should be shown when console is on)

The best thing to try is to see if your PSU will work on a diffferent 360 console (be sure it's the same type) or to see if a different PSU will work on your console. To determine what part is causing the problem.

Be sure to double check the power usage/voltage for both console/psu and the voltage used in the UK, since they are from a different country. They need to match.
