    I was on COD cold war yesterday and tried chatting to my mate who was on ps5 and i use an xbox one. Can I not in game/party chat to my friend on next gen ps5 while I'm using my current gen Xbox one? I couldn't figure out any way of talking to him in the
    game.

    It does work but only for bc titles including xbox one or non optimized games (listed as optimized under your games

    This is the same with ps5

    :however ps5 has paused their fps booster and smart delivery program

    Future updates on sony first party titles will have a 10 dollar charge to upgrade to ps5 version
