    I bought the correct version and pass of Minecraft on my Playstation about a year ago. I now want to try to play Minecraft on my iMac. I have purchased the PS4 version of Minecraft at full price at $35. I want to play Minecraft on my iMac does this mean I have to purchase Minecraft again on my computer?

    Every version of Minecraft is a separate purchase. Even if it wasn’t, PlayStation does not interface with Macintosh and your purchase would not carry over. The only time that happens is if you are going from Xbox to PC on a play anywhere title, which Minecraft is not

    Hi there!

    As long as you purchase the Minecraft Java Edition, it will work on your MacOS. Be sure to use the same Microsoft account to access the game on your MacOS so your game license will be detected in game.
