PS5 controller won't connect via bluetooth after 8 pm (central time)

So get steam support

Since its a steam driver

Steam has to support bluetooth too you know

Ok you are saying it works with steam till 8pm then quits since it has to work with steam or ds4win why not ask them for support

It's still.a third party driver which you need to.get support from.steam

Steam.has to.havr.input drivers for bluetooth

Since your steam is running the drivers you need to ask them or your Bluetooth manufacturer and plus disable antivirus

I.wouldn't.touch the antenna that's not what you think it is.

Bluetooth doesn't have an antenna they are flat devices

However Wi-Fi cards arent

Unless you bought a card with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to go into your PC which case you still have to goto your device manufacturer in this case both steam and your Bluetooth card maker

They are the best to provide support

But pc Bluetooth adapters that go into usb don't have antennas which you really should be using

They cost less then 10 bucks and yes I used them on steam for my two dual sense controllers

Ps5 dual sense requirements are bluetooth 4 or higher with 5 being perfered

I use my wireless mouse bluetooth adapters personally

MS doesn't write bluetooth drivers it's your manufacturer of your card and steam if that's what your using

If xbox well you need ds4win support for that

Also since you are saying it quits at night after all day usage are you forgetting to recharge in between those things are serious battery drains? And yes that can cause disconnections

I have the same issue with ps5 and my steam games you have to keep them charged to stay connected after playing all day

Fyi after lots of use the batteries do wear down unlike.xbox controllers you cant replace.the batteries

This is not the issue.

Remember, it works fine all day on steam and quits at night. I just downloaded ds4win just to make sure.

Steam has ps5 controller drivers built it so as long as the bluetooth is connected to the controller its good to go.

Did you report this issue to ds4win? Or steam whichever service you use

Ds4win and steam is the only way to use a dual sense controller because sony doesn't provide offical drivers for anything but their products which is steam or PlayStation

Ds4win is a button mapping app for ps controllers for windows and non steam titles

In order to use it on steam you MUST download the beta drivers under steam settings

Otherwise you won't have the full functions of the dual sense it eould be treated like a gamepad without the haptic or some of the controlls
