PS5 controller Connected to PC, but unable to play xbox game pass games.

Well its because you arent using the controller as its intended

Its not designed for pc games other then as a gamepad yes windows will detect It but for the other functions you need sonys libraries or a steam compatible game

Its only designed for ps5 and steam input compatible titles for pc which right now is very very few suppprt the full function of the dualsense

Common you can find this on ps forums even on regedit its publically known

Sony wont publish drivers except for their platforms that includea steam and anyone else who writes drivera without their consent will be sued

This is a driver issue and sony is unlikely to release offical drivers for non supported platforms and its steam who wrote the steam drivers and even then it doesnt fully support the featurea as its in beta

It will function just nowhere close to what you think it does

1 without offical sony drivers for windows with the supporting libraries which is sony sourced it will only function as a game pad

The reason why steam has support is because sony does published pc titles of their ps5 games and steam is the only platform they can publish on since they dont have a pc network

Whereas xbox has their own platform for pc same with mac

Only other unoffical platform is switch even then its only treated as a gamepad

They dont even support it on ps4

Not just me then, I sold it in the end and went back to PS5 because that actually works. I'm going to get a gaming pc and play game pass that way I think.

From what i have been fallowing they are working on bringing more games to Play Anywhere. Game pass is now available on PC

Also depending on your system some might now play well. i have been playing GOW ans its ok.

You can also now connect Wireless Xbox controllers to some PCs /laptop (depending on Controller )

Game Pass has been on Windows 10 for some time. But, only games which are on the Game Pass and are on Play Anywhere will work. Also, these
are not Xbox games running on a PC, they are still PC games. Yes the game saves are shared, but they are still PC games.

Note that they will only run well if your PC is up to the job of running them.

I’m playing on windows 11 pc, the Xbox store version (pc game pass), any other game I play will always switch the displayed controls to keyboard when I use the keyboard/mouse, and so far I have been unable to find anybody with the same issue as me. I have attempted to troubleshoot myself by tinkering with the control settings, but nothing works for me.
