Ps4 swap for xbox one

Just out of curiosity ... why are you swapping ?.

I have both , there isn't much diference tbh .

Apart from exclusives .

I would keep your Ps4 , and get an Xb1 from Argos , buy now pay 6,9,or 12 months later .

£10 per week ... bobs your auntie.

 

How does the console get banned? I have never heard of that, really possible?

Like a few of the other have said, if possible trade or sell your PS4 and buy new, why risk it?

If you are going to trade, check:

Kinect: Voice and hand gestures work.

Disc drive takes and ejects discs fine.

X1 is whisper quite, you wont be able to hear the fan, there are reports of ones that "Chirp"

The left analogue stick is prone to becoming loose, its not an big issue, but just be aware.

The only reason I'm wanting to swap is due to the amount of time the play station network is down for maintenance as well as I used to have both the 360 and ps3 and I always preferred the 360, should of really got one in the first place

 

I have to call the you know what flag on the PSN being as much as you suggest it is. I swapped from the 360 to the PS4 and was leery about the network from the "stories" I heard.

Since release I have been on just about everyday and it has never been to any point that has impacted game time. Once or twice at best; the downtime didn't last very long.

I have been pleasantly surprised by it.

 

Don't get me wrong it's not every week but it's a hell of a lot more than I was used to coming from xbox live and it's always at peak times in the uk to minimise the effect on America which also annoys the hell out of me lol

 

your best bet is to go into GAME and ask, if you have games aswell which im guessing you do, they might do you a straight swap if you dont want the kinect ( i dont use mine apart from for skype) my local game do offers not on their site for me when i go
in there and im not well known or anything, although a smile goes a long way, even better if you still have the box

 

Pays to get one only from an authorized retailer listed by Xbox/M. I've heard of some peps in NZ getting an Xbox 360 console off an online NZ reputable site only to find out there are some issues with console or it has been banned or their profile is banned
for using a modified console something which some peps experience. Best/safe to get new from an authorized retailer, that way it's from Microsoft and it comes with a 12 month warranty. I'm not sure I would trust some randoms word for it, with getting a new
console/PC, but I would trust the manufacturer and an authorized retailer. That maybe the most expensive choice, but better to be safe than sorry.

You can buy a brand new bundle for £369.

It must have been a trade in offer was it .?.

In my opinion you are making a better move by swapping over to an XBox1. as long as its not faulty' but if its a fair swap between you' you will be the winner imo.

 

Why not own both and have the best of both worlds ? Unless you are tight on cash.

 

Same here. I've had my PS4 since Nov 15th and the only time I noticed any issues was while trying to connect for the first time on launch day.

 

Personally, You're best off just going to a store and trade in from there. A lot safer and your new console will be covered by warranty.

 

I'd swap my xbox one with the kinect (day one edition) with extra control pad, forza 5, fifa 14 and battlefield 4 anyday for a ps4 console on its own. Sad that it's come to this. I wouldn't buy an xbox one even if it was £100 brand new. I've had way more
enjoyment from my 360 than this piece of junk.

 

Not sure if anyone posted it. But Gamestop is doing 50% more trade in credit on consoles if you put it towards a PS4 or One. So that should give you right around $398 trade in credit on the PS4. Basically leaves you will just paying the tax on the $400 unit.

Better to do that, then giving up your system for a used console.

 

The selling point for me with the xbox one was forza 5. The games far from complete, full of bugs, hardly any content, over priced DLC and the list goes on and on with it.

Also, I'm disgusted with how Microsoft don't listen to there fans / communities until there sales take a hit, then they start saying they listen to the fans and do a complete u-turn on stuff. Apparently 79% of gamers wouldn't even buy the Xbox one at $399.
Even at that price the ps4 is still the better performing console so no supprises there.

My xbox one also came faulty out of the box which was a pain in the backside and all my friends are on the ps network. I just wish I'd chosen the ps4 to begin with. Just goes to show how bad this system is for me to take a loss on my purchase and get a ps4
but it is the way it is.
