PS4 controller work around

unfortunately as ps4 and 5 controller don't use xinput they wont work these days, ps controllers work fine with most other games on pc except xbox provided content, ds4 sometimes works with windows store and xbox app games, in regards to using it over the xbox companion app, then your now out of luck and microsoft are a bit petty.

I am sorry, Sony has not issued any official drivers for the use of the controller on Windows.

as the windows system does not natively support the ps4/5 controller you have to use ds4 which is a program that basically disguises the ps4 controller as an xbox controller, some games in gamepass work, some don't, obviously i have a ps4 controller and have used it for all games on every store except shoddy gamepass.

You would need a Windows compatible controller. I'm not sure if Sony has the drivers for the PS4 controller, but I don't think so.

You may make it work with an PS4 emulator but it might not work as expected. You can try downloading a PS4 controller emulator to see if it works.

Yes, but you have to have a special adapter for it. I didnt even know it was possible until I seen a Youtuber using his PS4 controller on his Xbox. I do believe the adapter is around $40 though. So you might be better off getting an Xbox controller unless
you have a PS4 too.
