    PS4 controller only controlling iPad, not Xbox Cloud Gaming app


    Last night, I was able to play on the Xbox Cloud Gaming on my iPad with my PS4 controller. There was no latency, no issues, it worked just fine.

    Now, when I try to connect it, it only controls the iPad, but not the Cloud Gaming app. What can I do? I didn’t do anything different.

    Have you tried to update your controller?

    Did you try uninstalling and installing again the Cloud Gaming app?

    Please answer these two questions so I can better assist you.

    Thanks. Actually I want to disable touch and use a controller instead but my iPad doesn’t read the controller while on cloud gaming. I’m trying to use ps4 controller.

    No cursor on Flight Simulator 2020 using Xbox Cloud Gaming

    the truth is that the PS5 command is not listed as compatible, does not mean that it does not work.

    Ps4 control is on the list, but there may still be incompatibilities with certain games.

    What controllers can I use for cloud gaming on Xbox?

    I also tried Nintendo pro controller and it was the same. Once I launch the fortnite on cloud gaming it does not read the controller. I used Safari on my iPad mini and chrome and also edge and nothing worked. Is it true that for web gaming only Xbox controllers are compatible?

    I'm using the Xbox App to access game pass and cloud gaming. I'm able to use my PS4 controller on some of the games on game pass such as the Yakuza games.

    Under supported devices on the Cloud Gaming page, it does list the PS4 controller as a supported device.

    Appreciate the help.
