Proxy chat not working in DMZ. I can only hear xbox players.

We understand that you are experiencing issues with proxy chat not working in DMZ and you can only hear Xbox players. I'm here to help you with this concern.

Before we proceed, I will be asking you few questions to better understand the concern we have:

• May we know the type of headset you are using? If possible, let us know the make and model.
  
• Checking it here, it seems that this case we have is under with the category for Xbox consoles. Just to clarify, what is the device you are using?
  
• Have you tried using another headset device? If so, does the issue persist?
  
• What if we use speaker mode, is the issue persist?
  
• When you say DMZ, do you mean the functionality of your router?
  
• When you say proxy chat, are you referring to party chat?
  
• May we know what is the game that has this issue?
  
• Does it present from all other games?
  
• Have you made any changes to your network settings recently?
  

For us to proceed, I will be needing to have this information so, we can know where and what to start.

Just to sort it out:

Are you trying to chat with the headset or the Kinect? Or isn't both working? Do understand it correctly, that party chat IS working, only ingame chat makes problems?

Are you having portforwarding AND DMZ configured or only DMZ? Having configured both usually may cause problems.

Are you having anything configured for your 360 on your router? Portforwarding and DMZ can only be configured for one of them, not for both simultaneously.

What happens if you only configure UPnp?

my friend has that issue, i play on pc he is on xbox, as we are in a party i can hear him and he can hear me, but he cannot hear anyone in the game if they are on pc, i think chat and text in the open world is limited to xbox player only and pc players.

I'm down to play since none of my friends have upgraded. My only problem is game chat. I can't hear other players chatting. Only they can hear me
