Proxy Authentication in App Xbox

Hi!

I am having trouble connecting the Xbox App on my network with proxy. I need to authenticate with username and password, but this option does not appear in the App and have no way to configure it manually in the Windows network properties 10. They could
help me solve the problem?

Okay, so my problem is that I attend boarding school, and i want to connect to xbox live. Problem is that the internet connection here requires authentication via a proxy, and the xbox can't take it, I've searched EVERYWHERE for help but i honestly can not
find help. I know the proxy address, the port and so forth. But if someone could please tel me how i could connect to xbox live through a proxy with authentication ?

The Xbox cannot talk to a proxy direct , you would have to share your PC/Laptop connection:-

Hi Wii, The developers need more information. Which set of credentials are you being prompted to provide; is it for logging into the Xbox gamer account or for logging into the proxy so you can get network access? Anyway you can take a screenshot of the proxy
authentication for an app that does work to help with our investigation?

I usually try to login with my Xbox account only when connecting, the App does not have an option to put the proxy credentials to authenticate on my network. And so the App claims that I do not have a connection to the internet due to the absence of such
authentication.

Hi Wii, The developers indicate the Xbox App is not proxy aware, so this issue maybe related to your selected proxy software. Are other apps experiencing a similar issue or do they work just fine?

When an application has the option to put login and password to work on a proxy that requires authentication all occurs normally. But if an application does not have this option usually the internet access error.
