Okay maybe not a warm hug....maybe a pat on the back. I'm not AS patriotic as I used to be.

 

Wow, the way you guys celebrate GFD, Argon, reminds me of my younger days when my friends and I would blow stuff up and shoot fireworks at each other - ah, stupid times. We stopped doing it the moment my brother's leg caught fire. Don't worry though, we
put him out.

AC4, Defy? I would think AC3 would be more appropriate.

As for the fireworks not being exciting anymore, my mother made a similar comment during the show we saw last night - she said that when she was young, people went "ooh" and "ahh" at the fireworks, but as of last night everyone was completely silent and
just holding their phones up to the brightened night sky instead.

Deadfall, just because you don't or can't celebrate the holiday doesn't mean you can't celebrate for no reason at all!

Bizarro, it doesn't come up often, but every time I'm reminded that you're a vet, it brings a smile to my face. See! >

Fallout, in a bit of an ironic way, seems like a great choice to celebrate the holiday (since you know, it's about a failed America), Bizarro. Enjoy your BBQ, and don't forget the Nuka-Cola!

As for patriotism, it's 1 thing to be a patriot, but quite another to be a blind patriot - so no worries, Bizarro!

 

After the festivities I'm playing Arkham Knight. liking it alot so far. I'm sure batman celibrates the 4th of july. Now there's an american.

 

I stayed up a bit too late last night so I think my cat and I are going to have a nice 4th of July nap.

 

I'm an American, but have nothing to celibate about anymore as our policy makers have been, and are currently making up polices either behind closed doors. (Legislative branch) Or by executive order. (Executive branch) And the 3rd branch (Judicial) has to
agree with the other two for they were politically appointed BY THEM.

So no fireworks for patriotic Americans as WE are now considered by the State, 2b enemies of the state for no other reason than simply pointing out the treasonist actions of the state.

Also. 8 out of every 10 America's in this generation when asked. Don't even know who we succeeded from let alone the year in which it happened. Yet when foreigners were asked the same questions. They knew the answer.

Long live the queen, just kidding. At least we don't have to worry about tornadoes in my area but I'm happy for you Americans.

 

Yes, there are a lot of American's that are SUPER UNHAPPY and should really pack up and go. It's the simplest answer. May I suggest Antarctica? It's 5.4 million square miles of cold and wind, but it could give a lot of people a fresh start.
