    Pros and Cons to waiting for updated Xbox One


    Considering the size of game installs the internal 500 GB HDD in the Xbox One is seeming smaller and smaller. Tacitly confirmed by Phil Spencer on the recent Podcast Unlocked episode, Xbox One will be getting a HDD upgrade to most likely 1 TB sometime next
    year. Should those who don't have the console now wait for the new box or splurge and get one this holiday season?

    Xbox One are you taken in or thinking of a console change. And why.

    Well, I've actually got myself a little "pros and cons" list for both consoles, sadly the x1 list is more cons than pros at the moment tho.

    Ya theres the COD bundle, but no option to get a kinect included, or not a terrible looking console with 1 TB.

    Also no need to wait. External HDD is now supported. Plus we can have fun and enjoy Xbox 1 in the now instead of waiting October November December. ... next year January February this waiting is no fun when others have Xbox 1 I'm missing out while we are
    experiencing it. Forza horizon 2 the graphics yes that can be achieved with DDR3 memory. Halo mcc comes out next month.

    Gonna wait another 6 or 12 months, instead of playing games right now? Sheesh, by the time the 1gb drives are standard, they'll be too small by that time to handle the backlog of titles that you've been building up in the meanwhile. Pros and Cons to waiting for updated Xbox One :eek:

    Just got my 1st external HDD, a Seagate with 2TB for $100. IMO, that's perfect. I was able to download nearly 40 games on the internal HDD that came with the console, so with 4x that I think I'll be fine. Even if it fills up and I have to get another 1,
    it's a small price to pay - literally (another 2TB external HDD will likely be far cheaper by the time I need another one). Pros and Cons to waiting for updated Xbox One ;)

    Still, having to take the time to move things around is a bit of pain... Pros and Cons to waiting for updated Xbox One :(

    Pro: Newer console, larger... Umm... Internal HDD, More game choices, perhaps even a sleek looking Slim version, not to mentian that hardware/software/other issues MAY get ironed out by then.

    Con: Umm waiting.
