Promotional Gift Card

Recently there was a promotion on the Xbox Dashboard that read along the lines of this: If you buy 1 month of xbox live, you receive a code for a $5 promotional gift card via xbox live messaging. For 3 months was a $10 code and for 12 was a $25 code. I
bought 3 months on the 7th of June, and received a $5 code last night, the 24th of June. So to be clear, I waited over two weeks to be shorted what I was promised. I called Xbox support today only to be told that they didnt even know that the promotion existed.
So after an hour on the phone and being put on hold twice, (im not blaming the people I talked to they were very nice), I was told that they couldnt do anything about it, and to post on this forum. I was unhappy last night when I received the code, and now
im twice as unhappy. I expect to be compensated for my inconvenience. my gamertag is Ambi The God. This is the second post im making as Xbox Support reffered me to the wrong forum.

Xbox Live Gold Card 1 year sign up / $15 promotional xbox gift card issue

Hello,

I signed up for xbox live gold for 1 year on 6/20/15 because it indicated that I would receive a $15 promotional xbox gift card.

I received a message today from XBOX LIVE today welcoming me to xbox live gold with a promotional code.

But the problem is that I only got a $5 promotional gift card instead of the $15 promotional gift card that I suppose to receive...

When I clicked xbox live gold when I was about to sign up, it indicated like this shown below.

1 year subscription - $15 promotional gift card


3 months subscription - $10 promotional gift card


1 month subscription - $5 promotional gift card

Please look into this and get back to me... I won't redeem the $5 promotional code that I received today until I hear back from you guys...

Why the 90 day expiration on XBox Reward Cards

Hi

That does seem quite short. usually for promotional offers they are limited to 90 days, but regular gift cards don't have that limit.

Did you purchase promotional gift codes from somewhere? Bing Rewards for example are promotional codes that expire.

 

Its been over an hour, and I have yet to see a reply that has solved my issue.

 

I called xbox support again, and was once again told that the promotion does not exist. So I have been referred to 4 different people since 1 in the afternoon again, told to post in the WRONG forum, and called a liar multiple times.
