    Darth Swifty e-mailed me the promotional "sign up for xbox live rewards after recieving this e-mail and both you and the person who refereed you will get 25,000 reward points and I got an e-mail fixing mine but he hasn't gotten it applied yet.

    My referee should get the 25,000 rewards points as well.

    I have a button thats literally appeared about an hour ago on my dash, telling me I have promotional funds. Awesome. I'll check my account online. Nothing. Hmm, maybes it sonly on the console? Follow the prompt to an item on the store - still nothing. Just
    what are these promotional funds? How do I access them?

    Unfortunately you would have had to follow up with support at the time of the promotion. Since it's been well over a year since the promotion ended, there would no longer be a way to get a code.

    Follow-up,... just got off the phone with support and they have advised that i need to make a post on the xbox forum stating that

    DESPITE BEING ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROMOTION AND FOLLOWING THE PROMOTION LINK ON THE XBOX DASHBOARD, I DIDN’T GET EITHER THE GAME OR THE DISCOUNT.

    Not too sure why they couldn’t help me themselves but there you have it.

    I cannot purchase M-rated games from Xbox.com.

    Go to the dashboard, go to Settings, press Account and select Promote to Adult. I think it will give you a pop-up and follow the instructions if it does. For me it didn't so this is a heads up.
