Promotion bug in Chess Ultra

Whenever I get a pawn to the 8th rank if I choose anything but Queen the piece won't pop up and the screen where you choose what piece you want disappears. The one time I was playing with my friend I clicked on rook like 7 times
and it wouldn't let me have it. Then today when I was playing I did it again, but this time it gave it to me on the 3rd click. Then I tried another time today and tried to take a bishop, clicked on it 5 times and it wouldn't give it to me. I heard this was
an awesome game and I wasn't expecting it to have such issues.

Chess Ultra server?

for the last 10 days or so, chess ultra says it cannot connect to the server and to check my connection. I can only play local games; I cannot view leaderboard, start an online game, or even delete an online game. All indicators show my network connection
is fine. NAT is open.
