    Promotion Balance Incorrect


    Hi I was sent email saying that I was given a $25 promotion balance, but when I went to go check it said I only have $8.

    This is the second time I have been redirected. I have talked with a Microsoft Billing Representative whom directed me to the Xbox Rewards Forums because I was told that they dealt with any promotions. Then from the Xbox Rewards Forums I was directed here
    because they said that they didn't send the email. I am getting tired of being redirected because its wasting my time.

    since 2014 my rewards or actions are not showing. i have had yearly subscriptions that have not shown up on here and possible micro transactions. thank you

    Hello InsanePower,

    You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at Xbox Live Rewards .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
    back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. In September 2015, we made some refinements to the
    program. One change that happened was an adjustment of MyVIP purchase thresholds. If you did not reach any MyVIP ranks with your purchases from September 2014-August 31st 2015, you were placed at a default rank. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
    get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

    I'm very sorry to hear about this. Where did the email come from? Can you post the email address it was sent from? Was it part of a promotion from some other company? Can you check at commerce.microsoft.com to see what was put in to your account?

    I do hate to say this though. If it was from the Rewards program you will need to deal with them or you would need to speak with phone support as this does also seem to qualify as a billing issue.

    If the email was sent by an outside 3rd party though you would need to speak with them about the code.

    No one in this part of the forums would be able to help out any further.

    The email came from *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***. I am not really sure what promotion it was for but the email said that its was expiring. Commerce said that the most recent activity was in 2013 and I received the email about the expiring promotion on 8/04/14.

    I think I know what's going on here. First off the email is not a Rewards program but comes from Billing to let you know what's going on with your account purchases.

    What I believe the email was doing was informing you of the amount that you had in the account expiring. When the system switched from MS Points to Currency any existing MS Points were automatically converted to currency for you at the time. However, the
    money you had in your account was only valid for one year beyond the date of that switch. The email was more than likely information to let you know the promotion period was over and the amount that was there has expired.

  7. all automatically converted msp are valid until mid2015, all msp Cards that are redeemed after converting was started will ofc still add a value, but this expires after 1 year

    all automatically converted msp are valid until mid2015, all msp Cards that are redeemed after converting was started will ofc still add a value, but this expires after 1 year
