    Promote Child account failed.


    Hey Guys, i having some issues with my xbox account. i would like to promote my "child account" to a aduld account, but my xbox won't show up the button. im 19 by the way. everytime i would like to go to account safety t shows up an error code: 8015D080

    it would be awesome if someone could help me Promote Child account failed. :)

    Hey guys and gals,

    I am 35 years old, and just found out my account is a "child" account, so I am attempting to promote it following the instructions set up by Microsoft/Xbox, and when I hit submit at the end I get the following message: "This action cannot be performed
    at this time. Please try again later. 8015404C." What in the HECK does this mean? I've tried multiple times and keep getting the same message. There is nothing wrong with my account, and I have it set up for automatic withdrawal so nothing is past due. There
    is no logical reason that I cannot promote the account, and I would REALLY like to take advantage of some special offers on an Xbox One. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

    Hi there,

    I couldn't really find anything regarding that error code, but somebody solved the issue by removing payment options from the account, after which he/she could promote the account, see this link for some information:

    Other then that I advise contacting Xbox Support for this issue via

    Hello, this error codes suggests that there is a problem with your Microsoft Account. Please contact Xbox Phone Support for further assistance with your issue. Promote Child account failed. :)

    i have already called phone support and they said their technical support would call me. im wainting now for a week...

    if i don't get an call from them I Will Call! Promote Child account failed. :D

    It will only appear whem the account turns 18

    No sooner or later

    And there is no way to force it to come sooner neither by changing the age of the account or the email
