promo codes for games not working with 16 digits or less?

tried to enter fight night champion code and there game doesn't have the proper promo code enter so i went to microsoft enter promo code and it was telling me its not a proper code. because its a 16 digit code not a-25 digit code like your asking for

........... so then i went to your site where it said enter promo code and to my surprise it is also saying a 25 digit code and is putting dashes where they don't belong. so are only new games promos working now and the old ones are garbage?

Name Your Game Bundle, game download not working.

My name your game bundle, game download is not working. I went to the website and typed my 16 digit code in and chose which game i wanted and then waited for my 25 digit dowload code which was supposed to come via email but it never came. Help.

 

Game Bundle issues

Ive called xbox and microsoft directly and emailed Turn 10 Studio and nothing. I put the 16 digit redemption code on the 'claimyourgame' promo site and have not received the email with the 25 digit got, said it would take up to 24 hours, its been 4 days
since that. I want my forza 6 game now and need help because xbox and microsoft isnt helping me with this issue.

 

All Xbox codes are 25 digits, they have been for along time now. If they're less than 25 then they are usually game specific and there should be a place in the game's menu to enter the code.

However promotional codes that are lrss then 25 aren't redeemed on Xbox live usually you follow the instructions to a certain website to redeem the codes

Usually emails or documents you received the codes on will tell you where to redeem it

This thread is over 2 years old. In the future, you should create your own threads detailing your issues. As for your code, it should state on the document or in the e-mail with your code where in the game you are supposed to redeem your code.
