    Projector On/Off

Before the most recent big Xbox update, the Xbox one turned on/off my audio receiver and projector with no issues. Now the projector won't turn off because the "send power-off twice" thing doesn't happen before the xbox shuts off - it only sends once. Any
    idea what I can do?

    :)

Turning Projector Off with Xbox One

    Hi,

I have an Optoma HD25-LV projector (though my question applies to almost any projector). The projector requires the 'Power Off' signal to be sent twice to turn the projector off. First off, the Xbox One doesn't have my projector model as an option, but when
I use the next closest option (HD 66), it sends the power off signal only once. Is there any way to configure it so it can send the dual signal needed to turn the projector off?

    Thanks

The problem is, the XBOX is toggling the 'off' command instead of using the separate 'on' command. If you turn the projector on and then power up the XBOX, you will see the projector display the 'press again to confirm off' pop up box, because it has received
a single 'off' command from the XBOX. MS need to update the profile with the separate 'on' command as this projector doesn't use the same IR signal to power on and off.

    Projector On/Off

I'm in the same boat. I've searched the internet and it appears it used to work for many (after configuring the settings correctly), but I'm just not seeing the option for "two offs" or am able to get it to work.

I found another fairly recent thread in this forum mentioning the same issue. One suggestion in that thread was to change system Xbox one power/startup setting from instant on to eco, and I tried that and it works; however, when you do this, you lose the
capability to use the voice command "Xbox On", lose background updates and you're faced with the considerably longer boot up time. Hoping they resolve this.

    XBox not turning off Projector

Hi, I'm no expert with projectors, I did take a look for the remote codes for that projector so you could manually enter the remote code on the Xbox but didn't have much luck, however if you go into
settings-display-messages on the projector and turn messages off does that then stop that second power button request message to power off the projector and then allow the Xbox to power the projector off ?
