This situation with project scorpio is troubling to say the very least. I've been an extremely loyal Xbox supporter since the 1st console. I paid $600 including games so that I could get the X one the first day it was released. I never considered buying
the PS4, I am very loyal. But this is a one way street. First the kinect was abandoned. The latest betrayal is project scorpio. Those of us who spent all that money in 2013 to help spread the truth about the superiority of the X one are rewarded for our staunch
support by being left in the mud. Yes, only those who were evidently smarter, or perhaps not as enthusiastic in their love for the X one, will be rewarded for paying less than half price for the X one S by having a system that is Proj Scorp ready! This is
infuriating! THANK YOU XBOX! FOR DECADES OF LOYALTY AND AN UNSPEAKABLE AMOUNT OF $$, YOU AGAIN GIVE US THE BACK OF YOUR HAND. My next console will positively be a PS. While my "DAY ONE 2013" X one that I was SO proud of becomes a table to place my beverage.

No one's pulling your leg to buy the Scorpio. Yes, it's likely going to cost a pretty penny, but don't see it as a
mandatory purchase to stay current with the Xbox scene.

I'm expecting it to be released in somewhat the same vein as the PS4 Pro: the upgraded hardware will provide enhanced visuals for true 4K gaming, but it shouldn't be meant to ultimately alienate those who still own the Xbox One and One S - it will still
run the same Xbox One titles everyone else is playing anyway. Your Xbox One isn't fading into obsolescence
that quick.

Own a Playstation, regardless, and get yourself a Nintendo as well. It's nice to expand your horizons.

 

You're right of course. I was a bit angry when I put that text into this forum. I was also ignorant of a few facts. I'm better now and enjoying my Project Scorpio Edition X 1 X! ☺
