Project Scorpio will cost $399.99 to $449.00 because math

After seeing some videos on YouTube speculating on the price of Project Scorpio and rampant speculation that it will cost obscene amounts of money, I decided to do my own take on price estimates based off of information we already have. I fudged some numbers
because I obviously don't know the precise cost of hardware customizations, but I think I'm pretty soundly in the ballpark. Check out the table and explanations of numbers in the Google Doc below, and let me know what you think!

I am really confused..

I will go on record stating Project Scorpio will have a M.S.R.P. of $699.98...give or take $699.98.

Ummmmmm about Project Scorpio you really should of kept as Xbox Scorpio or just Scorpio instead of Xbox 1 X because there is already a Xbox 1 and a Xbox 1 S

 

"Speculation" is still the key word.

I daresay that it's going to be priced similarly to the PS4 Pro, since that console is the
direct competitor on that level. Sure, your estimate could be in the ballpark, or it won't. Microsoft would sell the console as a loss (using game sales to recoup), or try to profit high over the hardware costs, depending on how much the market is
willing to tolerate. These are merely my two cents; safe to say that most of us claiming prices aren't Microsoft marketing executives calling the numbers here.

I wouldn't worry about the price until it's actually revealed by Microsoft. Revel in the suspense for the time being. It is what it will be.
