Project scorpio, what was the point of pre ordering on august 20th for the November 7th ...

Well, not really a big deal, but disappointing that Microsoft can't get the Scorpio to their pre order customers on day of release. If anything, I would have thought buying from the source would have assured the best way to acquire one on release day.
Reading articles and its obvious it world wide, some get them, others not. My card had been charged and credited on November 3rd, charged again today with tracking numbers. It'll be tomorrow before tracking information is provided by UPS. 543 Bucks, and
waiting....

Xbox pre orders from online retailers

I have a 2x xbox one X Scorpio editions on pre order and now paid for since the 22/08/2017. I just had a chat with online customer support that it wont ship until tomorrow being the day of the release. If that is the case then I wont
see the Xbox for a numbers of days after this.

I am just very disappointed that I wont be able to receive it on day one which I thought would. Otherwise i would have made the purchase in a physical store.

This is listed in the FAQ section of the website.

Pre-ordering now ensures you will receive the limited-quantity exclusive Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition on the product launch date of November 7, 2017. After placing your pre-order, you'll receive an email confirmation and won't be charged until your
unit ships.'

It should say ' your product wont ship until the day of launch'..

Xbox One X vs Xbox One S

With me being a 360 owner I had been thinking about upgrading to a One for quite some time. Being a mature gamer who paid off his mortgage last year and hearing the rumours of Project Scorpio I decided to wait and see what happened.

When they finally announced the One X and the specifications I decided to wait for its release before upgrading. And even better for me when they announced the Project Scorpio Edition, so my pre-order went in on day one as soon as it was announced.

And having just upgraded my TV to a 50" 4K Ultra HD I could not be any happier

Roll on 7th November

 

Yep, I dont get mine until today 8th Nov, cause Microsoft stuffed up on the shipping.

 

I guess at least they are shipping next day air ups, shows delivery for tomorrow, the 8th as well.

 

I ordered mine on August 20th and got it delivered to my house today. Transferring stuff now.
