Project scorpio overheating

So this is my second scorpio since launch first broke down hardware issues. Now this one has started to shut down overheating 2 or more times a day its out in the open its well ventilated my house is never hot but it seems to be getting worse it always
freezes as soon as you boot up COD and of your watching any cut scene is a game it sound like its about to take out i dont know what the problem is

No problem i appriciate the response how ever long it takes. Unfortunatley service page still seems to be down, i will wait till the epidemic ends and move forward then with either the service page or local repair if possible as warrinty has ended anyway

Sorry for the late response. I believe you would need to send it in via mail/ package delivery. The site/service may be running into issues due to COVID-19 precautions. Your other options would be to check if there is a local licensed repair shop or even
an unlicensed repair (which will void any existing warranty). Just in case, check the official repair portal again to see if any of the site issues have cleared up since yesterday.

Meu amigo estava com o mesmo problema de super aquecimento , ele me disse wue o problema estava na soda do processador por que esquentava muito quando ficava em hibernacao baixando jogos com o One desligado.

I'm willing to bet that it's the thermal paste. You could send it in for repair or look up a local person. There are a few near me that do it for €35 but obviously with the current situation it will be difficult.

When the first released X consoles start shutting off when they can't be overheating, it's a telltale sign it's the thermal paste. I've googled a few images to show you.
