    Project Scorpio edition why is it so loud


    I just got the project scorpion edition and was wondering why the fan is so loud sounds more like a grinding sound,should I take it back? Or do I call Microsoft?

    Noise with Xbox one X

    My X1X Scorpio Edition was incredibly loud while watching blu-ray movies. Even about 15 feet away, it was still distractingly loud. Had to do an RMA. Couldn't do an advance exchange or even an exchange in store because it was the Project Scorpio edition.
    Being told it could take upwards of 28 days to repair. Really poor service from Microsoft if you ask me.

    Project Scorpio edition why is it so loud

    My Scorpio Xbox One X (which arrived today) has been running pretty quietly, perhaps even quieter than my Xbox One S.

    Is it running hot? Be sure to give it some "breathing room" so it can ventilate enough air to keep cool.

    Do you have a disc inside? Is that making the grinding noise? If so, do other discs cause the same noise?

    mine makes some noise, it's not a scorpio edition. I'm pretty sure on mine it's not the fan and rather, coil whine, it's like a buzzing. I took mine back and exchanged it but the new one does it too.

    mine makes some noise, it's not a scorpio edition. I'm pretty sure on mine it's not the fan and rather, coil whine, it's like a buzzing. I took mine back and exchanged it but the new one does it too.
