PROJECT CARS DELAYED AGAIN

Reading a bit more about this delay today and there's talk again about the problem not being with the actual game etc but it's some licencing issue with 2 of the tracks in the game.

I doubt we will ever know for sure, saying that I'm starting to think Forza 6 will be out before this and then this can wait lol

 

Been looking forward to this but the delays are making me wonder. I still hold hope that it will be the best racer out so far tho.

I'm reading today still from people that have played the beta saying this is going to be the best racer ever, I hope that's the case but like you I'm starting to wonder at the moment.

Hopefully it is just an issue with track licences and the actual game is ready and good to go!

 

I have all my racing hopes pinned on this game! FH2 and Driveclub whilst both good games, have been a little underwhelming. So until a new f1 is around the corner this has all my attention. If it is really good i may have to invest in a decent wheel for
it.

 

I still play FH2 and Driveclub and enjoying them both but just want that next 'special' racer.

Sonoma Raceway

Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) is a hilly road course and drag strip located in California. Twinned with Watkins Glen International (also in Project CARS) as a host of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series it sees regular use by many other motorsports
on both four wheels and two.

Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

Home to the Formula One Grand Prix, 24H endurance event, and many more, the famous circuit has seen many layout changes since 1920 although the infamously flat-out Eau Rouge has largely remained untouched making it one of the fastest and most exciting tracks
in motorsports today.

Brno

Opened in 1987, the relatively-new Brno Circuit has been host to the World Sports Car Championship, A1 Grand Prix, and the Czechoslovakian Motocycle Grand Prix.

Willow Springs International Motorsports Park

With a blistering lap time of just 1 minute 6 seconds held by legendary racer Michael Andretti, the 9-turn track is the oldest permanent road course in the United States with elevation changes and high average speeds making it a favourite amongst drivers.

I'm sure I read a few months back Spa was in the game, I must have got that wrong lol

 

Spa has always been in the game,the current layout,the original 8 mile layout & the test layout.

Racing around the original 8 mile layout was what first got me excited about this game.

Weird then that they say it's being added :/

 

Now I think this could of been a license issue because it was just known as Eiffle Forest in the game,which is the region where Spa is but now they are calling it Spa.

 

^Lets hope thats is all it was. getting excited for this game now.

Seems odd that the delay would be licencing issue with 2 of the tracks. I would think they would have had that done in order to even scan the tracks first.

I would have thought so to, so many rumours about why this was delayed again it's hard to keep track, chances are we will never know!
