Progress transfer from Disk to xbox game pass digital

Hi I recently got Forza horizon 4 on the Xbox game pass. When my month expired I deleted the game. If I get Forza horizon 4 on disk, will my progress from the digital copy I got with the Xbox game pass transfer to the disk copy?

So if your going to purchase or play via game pass the cloud had all your saves on it. Once you download that digital game you have the option of loading your saved game data.

You would have to re-purchase the game digitally to play it on the S. All of your progress is already tied to your account so you would just pick up from where you left off.

If it is a disk game and you are trying to transfer to an xbox one s digital or the xbox series s then no you are waisting your time

Those are digital only consoles and disks installs require the bluesy or dvd to validate the install

Digitally purchased game's can be transfered to save time yes

If it's to an xbox one x or regular xbox one s or xbox series x disk and digital will work with them

From the home screen you will want to go to:

Games and apps > Games > Ready to install and select the game you are trying to install.

Any digitally owned games will store here.

Physically copies will need to be reinstalled with the disk as they do not store in this section.

Save progress will transfer over.
