Progress linked to the Xbox Microsoft account

Hello everyone in the Microsoft Community!

I have a problem: When my father and I bought an Xbox One S, it asked us to enter an MS account (i.e. an account linked to the owner of the console). So my father entered his. Only now I'd like the Xbox to be registered to me, with my email etc. Also, because every time I turn on the Xbox One, it's like my dad is playing the game and not me. Also, most importantly, the game progress is washed out on his account. So even if I wanted to create a new one on the console, I'd be starting from scratch. And I don't want to do that for any reason because I've spent a lot of time in front of my games: I don't want to start all over from the beginning.
So my question is if there is a way to transfer progress from one Xbox One account to another, meaning that I create a new account inside my Xbox One, and transfer progress from my dad's account to mine. Or maybe,

I hope there really is a solution because I don't think I'm the only one with this problem.

Yeah, I heard about Xbox home: you install a game in the principal account, and then it is shared in the others. But I still not found a way to transfer progress from 1 account to another, RIP. And now I think it's impossible unless I change my father's email with mine, but I can't. So I think I will be forced to maintain the current account, that is bound with my father's email, for the rest of my life haha. But that sucks a lot. It would be great if Xbox could allow what I'm asking. And also remove Xbox Live Gold from Fortnite and Cod: I mean they are so popular games ! Ps4 doesn't have ps plus for them.

His parent's account is not the console owner account, as there can be multiple accounts in the console. If you want your own account, you need to create a new account with your email. Your father's account game progress is not erased as it is saved in the account's cloud. The games are tied to the account that bought the game, so if you create a new account, start from scratch. Progress cannot be transferred from one profile to another. To share console games you can do xbox home.

Your Sea of thieves progress is linked to your Microsoft account, make sure you're logged with the correct account.

In case you have more than one email, please check on each one

If you're playing the Steam version, you need to use the Microsoft account. The progress is linked to the Microsoft account, not your Steam account.

I'm afraid there is no way to transfer anything from one account to another account. The Xbox Account is linked to the Microsoft account and can not be transferred, same for progress in games etc.

rainbow 6 does not have cross progression from console to pc therefore nothing you have done on ps4 will show up on pc so will not sync cheevos or progression, you need to use the account in ubisoft connect linked already with the microsoft account, simple changing account will not work and your microsoft account is linked to the original ubi account.
