Progress from an xbox 360 verison of a game to an xbox one game

I have had a non backwards compatible game for the xbox 360 and recently got it for the xbox one. I was wondering if there is a way to transfer the progress from the xbox 360 version to the xbox one version of that same game.

We Want Oddworld on XBLA

oddworld munches oddsey one of my favourite games for my orginial xbox.... I would be willing to pay for a 360 verison/copy of it. because the game was orginial and creative a chance to break away from all these FPS and stuff I would love for it to appear
on 360 but..... only one can hope

 

Xbox Live Acounts

For GTA V, your game progress and achievements do not carry over from Xbox 360 to Xbox One.

Both versions of GTA V (Xbox 360 and Xbox One) are treated as separate games.

 

unfortunately you can't transfer saves for non backward compatible games

If you still have your Xbox 360 you would need to enable and transfer your save data to the cloud on the Xbox 360 and then your save data will be waiting for you when you boot up an Xbox 360 compatible game.
