Progress Bar Not Moving On A System Update.

If you are using WiFi to connect to your network hardware try wired ethernet connection instead. You may be getting WiFi signal interference interrupting the system update download.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. I understand that you are having an issue with updating your console. Can you let us know the type of Xbox you are trying to update? Troubleshooting differs depending on if you are updating an Xbox 360 or an
Xbox One.

One basic troubleshooting step you can try would be power cycling your network hardware. Simply unplug your network devices for about 5 minutes. This would allow the network to refresh. Test out the update again afterward.

I have cleared the system cache, I have removed the last system update. It still doesn't work or it says downloading but the progress bar does not move until it says failed to update.

When I played the progression bar was grayed out but it still moves and I still unlock stuff, if the progression bar is moving and you continue to unlock stuff don't worry to much about it.
