I got a MicroSoft Xbox 360 wireless controller to use in lieu of the keyboard and mouse in World of Warships. But there is no documentation on how to program the controller to act as a pseudo keyboard or in lieu of the keyboard. I bought this thing so
I wouldn't wear out my keyboard and now it seems useless. Isn't there a way to program the controller to act as keyboard input, that's what the guy at Fry's Electronics said this thing was capable of.

    :)

Microsoft Shutting Down Xbox Live Indie Games

(on 360) "Xbox One developers are encouraged to sign up for the ID@Xbox program instead, which allows them to work directly with Microsoft to publish new titles to the console."

    they are just changing programs

Xbox One Controller Analogs Too Loose? Bumpers Ok?

Actually, I think it would be nice if Microsoft made the Xbox One able to use Xbox 360 controllers. I completely prefer the 360 controllers to the One controllers, in all honesty.

    Xbox controller is too sensitive

I know this is an old post, but I'm sure there's a lot of people out there without the xbox one joystick, therefore the software to adjust it is useless. There's a program to adjust the sensitibity of the D-pads for the 360 controller. The problem is,
that I'm not sure if posting the name of it breaks the rules of this forum, since it's not a Microsoft program. So please, someone from Microsoft contact me, I'll show them the program I'm talking about. If it's ok, I'll show it here. I'm sure this will help
people in the future, not everyone have xbox one controllers. I have a 360 controller too, that I bought to play on PC.

Xbox 360 Controller Issues on PC

EDIT: Fixed it. Fiddled with drivers and uninstalling/reinstalling programs for a while, but eventually figured out that I just had to run the joy.cpl program and recalibrate the controller (there's a calibrate button on the Settings tab).

This is an Xbox 360 Wired Controller btw.

    Preview Program...

The preview program on the 360 is different to that on the xbox one.

Only Microsoft can invite you to the 360 preview program so if the message has expired I highly doubt you will get another one.
