Programming flight stick for Flight Simulator 2020

Ok, I will openly admit that I need help here and I am feeling a bit overwhelmed and frustrated. I was gifted Flight Simulator recently and I went to go fly it on my computer, after all the installs, and my controls do not work. I quickly realized that
my Saitek JC4C X45 Flight Control System was not programmed at all for the simulator and that you have to manually program all the buttons. I have tried to set them up for a few days, but am becoming more and more frustrated as things are not working as I
hoped. I have never had to program a controller, and frankly I am realizing I am not good at it. With Flight Simulator X and my other previous Flight Simulators, it has been a matter of just plug and play as all the controls were automatically set up. Is there
any way to find a pre programmed file for my flight stick? I have been scouring the internet looking for any sort of help, but I am not seeing it. And yes, it could be there, but I might be blind of it. I really want to enjoy the game, but right now it is
more frustrating and aggravating trying to program and miserably failing. Or, is there a flight stick system that comes pre programmed for Flight Simulator? Or is it no matter what flight stick you have, you have to manually set it up and program it for Flight
Simulator 2020? ANY help with this is very much appreciated.
